Moving on to Tokyo

It was sad to leave our hosts in Shizuoka. Seiko Gaukin were absolutely fantastic and looked after the boys superbly. All the host families and boys came to the train station to see us off and after some long goodbyes we boarded the bullet train, with all our bags and kit in tow! It was a clear sunny day, which was fitting as we got an amazing view of Mount Fuji as we sped towards Tokyo. When we arrived, a short train and metro ride later saw us arrive at Roppongi. We checked into our hotel, freshened up and took the metro to the Meiji Jingu baseball stadium to see the Tokyo Yakut Swallows in action. It was an amaxing atmosphere with both sets of fans in full voice when their team was in bat. The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and even got involved in their chants, even though the home team lost! We then returned to the hotel to settle down to a well earned rest, before a day of sightseeing tomorrow.
